We are currently recruiting for a Trust Supervisor to join Kreston Reeves in Horsham.

Role Description

You will report to the Partners and will be an integral member of the private client tax department which looks after individuals (including high net worth families), trusts and deceased estates. This role has some specific features which distinguish it from typical trust controller or supervisor roles which include direct client contact, supporting the team's workflow, billing and debtors, ensuring key deadlines are met and supporting high net worth families.

The objectives of the role

To manage your own client portfolio efficiently and promptly.

Responsibilities

Along with those responsibilities mentioned above you will:

  • Preparation of trust and estate accounts and tax returns
  • Preparation of individuals tax returns
  • Preparation of Inheritance tax returns connected with trust events
  • Providing general tax advice and other ad hoc tasks

Requirements

  • Accountancy, tax or STEP qualification
  • Experience of preparing trust accounts and tax returns
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
