Road Tester Associate
Do you have what it takes to drive and assess the ultimate luxury vehicles?
We have opportunities for Road Testers at the home of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Ltd at Plant Goodwood, West Sussex.
The positions are in the Assembly Technology within our Vehicle Validation and Finish team, you'll be responsible for ensuring our vehicles exceed our customer expectations in every way.
Standard working week is 40hrs on a shift pattern rotating early/late with the flexibility to do extra (which is a key requirement). This will include weekends when customer demand makes this necessary. When on lates you will receive a shift premium of 20%.
You must have a can-do approach and the willingness to learn.
Essential Experience & Skills
• Dealer or motor vehicle workshop
• Manufacturing / Production Environment
• Working in process driven environment
• Proven ability to work to given process
• UK Driving Licence (No DD or dangerous driving convictions)
Desirable skills & Experience
• German language a real benefit
• Ability to read an engineering drawing
• Leadership skills
• Operation of diagnostic equipment
• Time served Dealer / Workshop Technician
• NVQ L2 or 3 covering Manufacturing or motor vehicle
• 5yrs+ in Manufacturing / Production environment
• Leadership role
Driver training is provided but previous driving experience or advanced driving qualifications are an advantage.
You must have a full UK driving licence free from any serious motor convictions.
