CNC Offline Programmer - Lee on Solent - GBP35,000 - GBP40,000 (dependent on experience)
* Can you write CNC programs for multi-axis Mazak machines?
* Are you able to design fixtures and special tooling?
* Do you want to work for growing Aerospace company in their new purpose built facility?
A growing and very established specialist precision engineering company based between Fareham and Gosport in Lee on Solent require a CNC Offline Programmer to join their team in their brand new facility. This company are a specialist CNC manufacturing company that supply into various markets but predominantly the Aerospace sector.
Requirements:
The CNC Offline Programmer will have the following roles and responsibilities:
* Generate CNC Programs for 3,4 & 5 axis Mazak machines
* Design Fixturing and Special Tooling for use on parts
* Draw Wireframe parts using Alphacam or CAD/CAM
* Ability to perform online programming (at a machine control).
* Troubleshoot machining related issues (tool, manufacturing process, or mechanical).
* Ability to reduce setup time and machining through process improvements.
* Control the handling of CNC programs from the server to CNC machines.
To be suitable for the position of Offline Programmer, you will ideally have the following experience and skills:
* Ability to setup, program, operate and troubleshoot CNC lathes and mills without assistance.
* Ability to read and understand Engineering drawings.
* Knowledge of STEP,IGES & PARASOLID models.
* Experience of Mazak machines.
* Continuous Improvement mentality
The CNC Offline Programmer will receive the following package:
* Salary between GBP35,000 - GBP40,000
