Sessional Recovery Navigators - Devon
Location:
Opportunities for sessional/bank work across Devon including Bideford, Barnstable, Exeter, Honiton and Newton Abbott
Hourly Rate: £11.81 per hour

Our client is looking to build their bank of sessional Recovery Navigators to cover shifts across their Devon Together service.

Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, Recovery Navigators deliver an integrated service through the provision of assessment, recovery planning, appropriate referral/linkage and psychosocial interventions. In this role, day to day duties will involve delivering a range of interventions including key-working, strengths based assessment, recovery planning, and structured group and 1:1 work. You’ll manage a case load in partnership with a prescribing nurse so experience of case load management is important.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the field of substance misuse, however they will consider equivalent experience working with other groups of vulnerable adults. You’ll have a good understanding of group working and group dynamics, and will be able to demonstrate competent group work facilitation skills. Knowledge of safeguarding is also important.

You’ll need to hit the ground running, so excellent organisation, time management and communications skills will be key to help you understand and work with their service and their service users. You’ll be confident managing your own priorities in order to carry a diverse workload with competing demands.
