Front of House Supervisor
Front of House Supervisor
Rust And The Wolf is bringing a new lease of life to the Ashburton hospitality trade. As the latest addition to the town’s bar and restaurant scene, we boast a shop, bar and restaurant space, as well as a courtyard garden.
Having opened our doors in November 2018 at our renovated garage in the heart of Ashburton, we are now looking for a Front of House Supervisor to join our 17-strong team for a full time role, working between 30 and 40 hours per week.
- Competitive Salary, dependent on experience
- Staff on-site meals
- Pension scheme
- Staff discount on shop merchandise
This is a superb chance to join our new venue with a chic, industrial vibe and play a key role in establishing Rust and The Wolf as an excellent venue.
We’ve built ourselves up from an initial online shop to our physical presence and have now created an amazing, quirky environment in a market-town setting.
We’ll be kicking off a range of summer events in April with the first of our monthly BBQs and will provide you with plenty of chances to grow and progress with us. Initially, you’ll be working towards becoming a shift leader and after that? The sky is the limit.
As our Front of House Supervisor, you will be one of the key drivers of activity at our venue. You’ll be getting involved with everything from allocating tables and greeting customers to making coffee and cocktails.
You’ll bring passion and expertise to our corner of Ashburton and will relish the variety, challenge and hard work that results in making Rust And The Wolf a success.
Working a range of shifts, you will deliver great customer experiences to everyone who comes through our doors and ensure repeat customers every time.
We’ll need you to work evenings and weekends, but we do understand that life exists outside of our business and so we are happy to discuss your shift patterns at interview.
To be considered as our Front of House Supervisor, you’ll need:
- Front of house experience
- A team player mentality
- The willingness to pitch in and take part in every aspect of the business
- A good head for numbers
Ideal candidates will have experience within a bar or cocktail making and/or as a barista. Experience in 'table waiting roles' would also be desirable, as would experience with stock control and ordering.
Previous experience in a supervisory role would be equally advantageous, but these are by no mean essential as we will provide full training.
Other organisations may call this role Front of House Supervisor, Waiter, Waitress, Bar Staff, Barperson, Team Leader, Shift Leader, or Front of House Staff.
Rust And The Wolf is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from every aspect of the community.
