Administrator. Student Services. Full Time. Temporary (1 year).
An exciting opportunity has arisen within student services for an Administrator to join our existing dedicated support team. You will be responsible for organising DBS checks for student work placements with vulnerable groups. You will also organise and liaise with curriculum areas regarding student disciplinary panel hearings. You will be a skilled Administrator with excellent communication skills. You will be highly organised, an active team player but capable of working on your own initiative and managing your own workload.
You will have a wide range of experience using M/S office, databases and systems. You will be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail, with the ability to make accurate records with fast and accurate keyboard skills. You will be able to initiate and adopt new ideas quickly, and organise others.
Experience working with government legislation would be an advantage. Experience of handling and working with confidential and sensitive information, and the ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines is essential.
Applicants will be educated to Level 2 minimum in maths and English (GCSE Grade C or above, GCSE Grade 4 or above, or equivalent) with minimum Level 2 in IT and/or have experience of using Microsoft packages.
