Receptionist/Customer Service Assistant

Permanent, full time position

Based in Hertford SG13

Salary £17k to £18k                              

Our client is an international, innovative consumer goods business and they are fast-growing. They are expanding their reception/customer team and are looking for a Receptionist/Customer Service Assistant whose role would involve but is not limited to:

  • Operate their busy switchboard, directing calls as appropriate
  • Provide timely Reponses to customer service enquiries via email
  • Meet and greet visitors and arranging refreshments/lunches, as required
  • Unpacking samples
  • Placing orders for office supplies
  • Administrative support for the business

Their office hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm (40-hour week).

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have previous reception experience
  • Have outstanding communication skills, oral and written
  • Maintain professional, presentable and courteous image
  • Be customer orientated with a flexible, can-do attitude
  • Be competent in using MS Office, especially Outlook
  • Be able to handle lightweight but bulky luggage samples
