We are looking for a warm, outgoing and professional person to join our friendly team. Fantastic interpersonal skills are pre-requisite as is the ability to remain calm in an often very busy environment. You are very well organized and can juggle multiple tasks at one time. You have great attention to detail and are confident using computers and learning new software. You will also have proven customer service experience ideally gained in a reception environment.

It goes without saying that you will have empathy with pet owners and if possible have the flexibility to undertake holiday and sickness cover at short notice.

Core weekend hours are Saturdays 9-6 and Sundays 10:30 -4pm which are worked 3 out of 4 weekends giving an average of 10 hours per four week period. An additional 2.5 - 4.5 hours per week can also be available on Wednesdays either 3pm or 5pm to 7:30 if the successful candidate would like as can additional hours for holiday cover).

Own transport is recommended - there is plenty of free parking and the practice is very well located being only 5 minutes’ drive from Junction 7 of M3 on the outskirts of Basingstoke (RG22 4TT).

Ideally the successful candidate will live within a maximum thirty minute commute from the practice. 

Salary between £7 and £8:50 per hour depending on experience.
