ELECTRONICS TEST ENGINEER / SUPERVISOR - WREXHAM
Sinceratis are working with an international instrumentation manufacturer to recruit for an Electronics Test Engineer/Supervisor
The role will be to ensure the testing of product meets or exceeds company quality standards and are produced within the timescale required. Also to ensure that facilities and processes conform to company requirements and procedures. Further to complete a variety of mechanical and electrical with regards to analytical scientific apparatus.
Key Accountabilities
1. Observing, adhering to and enforcing Company rules and procedures with regards to Health & Safety.
2. Observing, adhering to and enforcing quality procedures to satisfy BS EN ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
3. Observing, adhering to and enforcing all general Company rules and policies.
4. To have regard for the duty of care of information (with particular reference to the Data Protection Act) gained during the course of employment that relates to other employees.
5. Primarily in a hands-on role fault finding electronics PCB's and PCBA's providing guidance to other team members when required.
6. Ensure that units leaving the test area are of a high quality and test data is stored appropriately.
7. Work closely with Electronics Development and Compliance teams to ensure test procedures are available to team members and recommend changes where appropriate.
8. To ensure all operational areas of Electronics Test are maintained in a professional and tidy manner and to ensure all test equipment is maintained and serviced appropriately and is safe to use.
9. To maintain stocks of shop floor materials and consumables and their appropriate storage.
10. To ensure weekly and monthly checks are completed and documentation is filled in.
11. Progress assemblies and provide information to the Assembly Manager.
12. Supervise, motivate and ensure the safety of team members working in Electronics Test area.
13. Allocating work to and overseeing the work of people working in the Electronics test area.
14. Reallocating tasks (and rescheduling) whenever needed to achieve deadlines with support from the Assembly Manager.
15. Carry out continual re-evaluations, risk assessments and ensuring prompt action is taken.
16. To conduct 1-1's with Electronic Test team when required.

Good overall knowledge of electronics and electrical systems
Desirable - PAT testing
Desirable - supervision/scheduling knowledge
Qualifications required
Desirable HND/HNC in Electronics
