* Position: Schools Financial Adviser
* Location: North Herts
* Salary: GBP23,000 - GBP27,000 per annum (depending on experience)
* Contract: Permanent, 37 hours, Term Time+ 2 weeks (40 weeks)/
* 4 days per week will also be considered (52 weeks)
* Monday - Friday
Schools Financial Adviser:
* Are you AAT/ full or part qualified? Or maybe you have CCAB/CGMA or equivalent accounting experience?
* Would you enjoy being part of a team of finance professionals who support schools across Hertfordshire?
* Maybe you've worked in a Finance department for a school before?
* Are you experienced delivering bookkeeping?
* Does your previous experience include budget planning consultations, strategic forecasting, advice on financial systems and procedures, cash-flow management and compliance with financial standards?
* Maybe you'd enjoy looking after a portfolio of schools and using your finance skills to support them manging their finances?
* Would you be described as a confident, personable individual with excellent communication skills?
* Do you have the ability to effectively convey financial information to audiences at all levels, including Headteachers and governors?
* Have you got excellent attention to detail?
* Would you be capable of producing a budget monitor and financial forecast with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail?
* Maybe you have a keen interest in working in the area of the financial management of schools?
* Would you enjoy becoming a key adviser of schools, delivering accounting services and ensuring that school leaders are accurately informed about their financial position and future projections?
* Does a varied role, where you get to travel across a geographical area appeal to you?
* Maybe you're keen for a long-term career with good prospects, training and mentoring?
