In 2018 the Romford business community voted to become a Business Improvement District. Meaning for the first time in its history the town businesses will be able to influence how their town centre evolves, develops and grows.

With a forward thinking business plan designed to meet the key challenges of this unprecedented growth. We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated professional director to lead the Romford BID Company in delivering our overarching vision for the future.

As part of this exciting regeneration agenda we are looking to recruit a Romford BID Project Director. The Bid Director will have the vision and enthusiasm to use this agenda to make Romford town centre more economically vibrant, full of positive visitor experiences and attractive places to work, live and do business.

This opportunity would suit a dynamic, enthusiastic and flexible project manager/director with strong people skills and a flair for creative project delivery; someone who can be a major contributor to the BID Company's ambitious plan to stimulate economic growth through destination marketing, events and festivals and numerous other projects designed to improve the commercial vibrancy of one of London's main metropolitan centre.

The role requires a motivated individual, able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines with a flair for creative project management and business liaison. This is as the new project lasting for a minimum of five years in busy, exciting, fast moving environment.
