Do you have a background in Merchandising and looking for a new challenge?
Our client based in Braintree are recruiting for a Online Merchandising Assistant to their growing Merchandising team.
In this role you will be responsible for driving the performance for your categories through increasing conversion, preserving margin performance and ensuring stock levels are controlled. You will need to have a commercial mind set as well as a creative eye for detail and a passion for home interiors.
Duties Include:
• Auditing new products going live to ensure all imagery and copy meet agreed guidelines
• Review under-performing brands and categories and propose changes to improve performance
• Review competitors and industry leading ecommerce sites for inspiration including:
o Site layout for categories
o Potential marketing stories
o Types of imagery or useful information around your categories
o Checking prices to ensure we remain competitive
• Work closely with the Studio, Graphics and Copy teams to ensure all imagery and information is up to date & consistent
Experience & Skills:
• Visual Merchandising background (not compulsory)
• Proactive, creative, passionate about customer online experience
• Looking to progress within the industry
• Proficient in MS Office packages
• Analytical and commercial mind set (knowledge of Google Analytics nice to have but not essential)
• Attention to detail and ability to plan, prioritise and organise workload
