Senior Accountant (6 - 9-month contract) - Holborn

Camino are excited to once again be working with an award-winning and ambitious recruitment company based in the heart of London! Due to a period or transformation within the business, the business is looking to bring in an extra pair of hands to support the Finance Manager and Financial Director. This role looks to support them in a supportive and hands-on fashion, taking ownership of day to day transaction processes, weekly reporting and analysis, along with some month end support.

This is an ideal role for an accounting professional who is accustomed to working in a fast-paced SME environment and ideally has previously worked within the recruitment sector. The candidate must have knowledge of weekly and monthly payroll.

Main Responsibilities:

• Weekly reporting of revenue figures
• Monthly reporting for Sales Director
• Monthly nominal ledger revenue reconciliations
• Journal calculations, posting for accruals and prepayments
• Quarterly analysis reports
• Assist the Finance Director and Finance Manager with board reports and explanation of variances
• HMRC reporting
• Using SAGE 50 - handling bank payments and performing reconciliations
• Prepare quarterly VAT reviews for the FD and reports for HMRC
• Ad hoc queries and projects
