This is an exciting new opportunity for an experienced business travel professional to join the Events division of a renowned travel management company within their vibrant Bradford based team.
In this fast-paced and varied Event Travel Manager role, you will be coordinating and managing group travel arrangements for a diverse portfolio of clients. You'll be responsible for the full project management and coordination of groups of up to 1000 passengers, including all air and rail travel requirements through GDS (Sabre). Utilising your extensive business travel experience, you'll build strong working relationships with clients and colleagues, negotiate with suppliers, prepare proposals and quotations, as well as manage your own budgets and project financials. This is an outstanding opportunity for a business travel specialist, who is keen to become a groups expert.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
*Experienced in Business Travel with good working knowledge of GDS, ideally Sabre
*Comfortable handling complex travel programmes
*Superb communication skills, both written and verbal
*Highly organised and able to prioritise workloads in order to meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment
*Agile and able to work outside core hours during events when required
*Event registration software experience (preferably Cvent) and additional languages would be highly beneficial
*Prior Groups experience is desired
