We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor to join the team at our Lower Tier COMAH site at Wellingborough.

The Maintenance Engineer Supervisor Role:
Reporting to the Regional Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day management of a double shift maintenance team, carrying out installation of new plant, machinery and equipment and making sure existing plant, machinery and equipment is well maintained. Your work will include installation, preventative/routine/emergency maintenance, inspection and testing.
Maintenance Engineer Supervisor Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
+ Planning & organizing site wide maintenance and repairs
+ Maintaining Planned Preventative Maintenance system (CMMS)
+ Generating, monitoring & reporting engineering KPI’s
+ Holding regular engineering team meetings & submitting minutes
+ Departmental support, with Operations and EHS&Q
+ Daily liaison with Engineering manager and Shift Managers
+ Provision of effective and efficient response to equipment breakdowns
+ Contractor Management
+ Provide support for permit to work control
+ Inspection & testing of various plant & equipment including bulk storage tanks, pipework, pumps, valves etc.
+ Inspecting, testing & repairing intermediate bulk containers (IBC’s)

The ideal candidate will be qualified to ONC/HNC level or demonstrate relevant work experience. The ability to communicate both verbally and written to all levels of the business is essential. A good awareness of Health and Safety is critical because being ‘Serious about Safety’ is a core value of our organisation. Full training will be provided on a regular basis to ensure compliance with Univar and industry standards.
For this position there is an occasional requirement to work away from home and to work at other company locations therefore a full driving licence is essential. There is a requirement to work on a shift pattern (No night shift).
