Our client, a company that specialises in plant sciences and molecular microbiology, are looking for a life science graduate to join their team.
This is the perfect role for a new graduate to join in an entry level position and gain experience in their labs. They are looking for someone who is a fast learner with great communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- General laboratory work and house keeping
- Supporting the lab manager
- Routine maintenance of equipment, preparing buffers, autoclaving etc.
- Assisting with administrative tasks such as purchasing and stock taking
Job Requirements:
Essential
- A BSc or MSc in a Life Science subject
- Plant science knowledge or interest is a bonus
- An understanding of GLP and health and safety in the laboratory setting
