Sales Advisors

Around 350 jobs are being created in Trafford, Manchester by Scottish Outsourcing firm Ago Outsourcing.

The firm will open its Manchester doors on April 8th 2019 with an initial intake of 80 energy sales advisors and will look to increase their headcount to 350 in the coming months starting with a recruitment open day on Saturday 23rd February 2019 at the Emirates Old Trafford Cricket Ground between 9am – 5pm.

The call centre will primarily carry out outbound sales calls for ScottishPower and is being opened as part of Ago Outsourcing’s national expansion plans.

Last year the company announced it was creating over 700 jobs across their Glasgow and Newcastle sites, and are now looking to open further call centre’s around the country, with Manchester being the next location on their list.

Stephen Rafferty, Chief Operations Officer at Ago Outsourcing, said: “We already have a large presence in Scotland and Newcastle and have very aggressive plans to continue the growth throughout the UK. Manchester has always been a prime location for contact centres and after considering a few locations we agreed Manchester would be the perfect venue for our next centre.”

The majority of the positions will be sales roles, however positions will also be created within the back office Operations, Quality & Compliance, Customer Service, HR, Team Management and Administration.

The company added that the region boasted a talented workforce and good transport links.

Ago Outsourcing are looking to continue their expansion across the UK and expect to announce further sites later in the year.
