Specialist Tour Operator - Surrey
Salary GBP20k plus commission
Are you an experienced Tailor-Made Travel Consultant looking for a new challenge and wanting to join an Award winning Leading Tour Operator?
Jewels Travel Recruitment are working with a Leading Tour Operator seeking a Specialist Tailor-Made Travel Consultant to join their team. This position is an office based position in Surrey.
As a Travel Consultant you will be creating bespoke tailor-made itineraries, giving expert advice.
As part of a travel team you will be responsible for maintaining excellent customer service, solving pre and post booking operational issues and ensuring the front-line teams have all the information and sufficient understanding of the holiday, booking processes and systems to be able to professionally own their customer relationship.
Your key objectives will be to achieve sales targets, provide necessary support to convert enquiries into sales, demonstrate excellent destination & product knowledge.
Experience Required
- Proven tailor-made travel sales experience within a Tour Operator (essential)
- Destination expertise with strong customer focus
- Travel experience in at least one of the following long haul destinations: Canada, Australasia, India, Latin America, Far East, Africa & Cruise
- Excellent all-round knowledge of the travel industry
