Machine Operator (3600)
The Ouse and Humber Drainage Board is responsible for the maintenance and management of over 260 miles of rivers and watercourses in East Yorkshire.
We also provide maintenance services for other Internal Drainage Boards and the Environment Agency. Due to a recent expansion in our operations, the Board is currently recruiting for the position of an experienced machine operator.
The successful candidate will be experienced in the operation of large 360-degree plant and shall be able to demonstrate that they are competent in the use of this machinery to maintain watercourses.
The role comes with a competitive salary ranging from £21,215 to £24,381 (depending on experience and qualifications), with opportunities for overtime.
This post includes membership of the local government pension scheme.
The job is based at the Board’s depot near to the village of Gilberdyke, East Yorkshire.
