Our exciting new community hub is looking for a positive and dynamic person to join their high performing team.

What you'll be doing

You’ll be working in our brand new Hub café which is located on the ground floor of The Hub and is a focal point within the building.  

You’ll report into the Centre Manager and manage a small team of Café Assistants. Your focus will be to manage the full catering operation (front and back of house), ensuring the highest level of service standards are provided to customers, whilst taking ownership of Health and Safety and food safety procedures alongside operational duties in the kitchen.  You’ll take the lead on food preparation and menu development.

You’ll be working in a warm and beautiful place that the community can feel proud of. It will provides high quality, flexible and comfortable spaces that are well used and generate activities and services that bring people together, providing opportunities for support and growth.  The Hub Café complements the activities and services offered in the building and provide the catering for events taking place in The Hub.

More about you

You’ll have recent experience of delivering exceptional customer service in a similar catering environment and have a level 2 Food Hygiene and Safety Certificate.

You’ll have an understanding of how to provide an exceptional customer experience for all visitors to the Hub Café at Mulberry Park and to play an important role in the community.  

You’ll need to be flexible and able to work weekends and evenings.  

At the same time you will demonstrate resilience and the desire to work in an interesting environment where no day is ever the same!

When and where you'll be doing it 

You will be able to work flexibly, 37 hours per week worked on a rota between Monday and Sunday, based on our customers’ needs.  

You’ll be based in at Mulberry Park, Bath.
