HR Analyst/ Data Analyst - 6 month - Hook

At present we have a requirement for a HR Analyst/ Data Analyst to be based out of our client's Hook office. This in an initial 6 month contract and is going to be based on a 30 hour week with flexible working available.

This role will help to provide better reporting to enable the business to identify issues and track performance.

The main purpose of the role is to provide improved management information and analysis for the UK&E business to focus efforts on managing absence and drive down the cost of absence, as well as oversee the development of automation of dashboards/reporting, system & process improvements and developing interfaces.

* Develop sector level dashboards to track sickness absence and highlight areas of poor performance.

* Improve reporting so that HR colleagues and managers can view the contract 'hot spots' for absence management.

* Develop reporting tools to enable HR colleagues and managers to identify and track long term absence cases.

* Develop reporting tools to identify persistent short-term absence cases and associated activity.

* Partner the Absence Manager team to review and improve reporting with Empactis

* Partner with internal M&I data team, Empactis and CapGemini to build and automate the dashboards

* Support Business HR team and Business analyse and interpret data

* Review OH MI data with Optima.

* Excellent knowledge and understanding of HRIS solutions (ideally SAP HCM). An understanding of SAP "back-end" processes and infotypes would be an advantage.

* Experience of using data reporting tools (e.g. Cognos, SAP Business Warehouse).

* Good knowledge and understanding of MS Excel.

* Good knowledge of the principles and practices of HR processes and services.

* Experience of managing multiple sources and types of data in a complex environment.

* Good presentation skills, both written and verbal.

* Evidence of influencing skills at peer level and with managers at more senior levels.

* Evidence of coaching peers to improve their skills and knowledge

* Strong evidence of being able to develop positive relationships with people at all levels both internally and externally.

* Strong project management skills.

* Ability to manage direct and indirect team efforts across multi-functional teams and have experience of operating in a complex, matrix type business environment.

* A proactive and responsible approach to work with initiative and problem solving capability.

* A good appreciation of all functions across the business to ensure HR function fully integrates and supports all other business areas
