Working within our Recycling Division, we have Process Engineer vacancies available across the UK, with UK travel required.

Reporting to the Senior Process Engineer you will own and lead plant optimisation strategies across the recycling business, identifying engineering programmes of investment to improve safety, plant performance, quality and capacity.

The Process Engineer will work closely with the Senior Process Engineer, site management teams and Project Managers, and provide a structured systematic approach to plant optimisation which ensures technical preparation is completed prior to project delivery. To do so you will carry out assessments of plant performance, quality and capability against plant design using data driven analysis.

Utilising your collaborative approach, you will work closely with a variety of stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of programmes and validate site level initiatives, ensuring robust technical governance throughout.

Our new Process Engineer will also ideally have:

  • A demonstrable track record in process improvement, re-engineering and /or design.
  • The ability to think logically and decisively to understand root cause and provide effective engineering support.
  • Proven experience in a technical/ process-oriented role. Exposure to a fast-moving production environment an advantage.
  • Experience in the development of technical solutions from concept, through design development, installation and commissioning.
  • You will have the ability to think and act strategically and to deal effectively with ambiguity.
  • You will be a strong relationship builder who is able to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels and able to work under pressure to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Degree in technical discipline such as Engineering or equivalent qualification or demonstrable experience applicable to the role
  • Full driving license
