An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Social Media & Content Officer to join the Marketing Team at an education services college. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering the Social Media plan; creating all content; executing E-CRM strategy, working to engage and convert traffic to various websites for a group of colleges.

Your main responsibility as a Social Media & Content Officer will be to maintain and develop the colleges online presence and building Brand & Recruitment strategy on social media. The group has expanded at a rapid rate. There are 7 colleges now with further expansion plans in the pipeline.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Consolidate and rebrand the social pages of the colleges across all platforms

- Developing the vision and strategy for Social Media

- Managing and executing social media plans across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn, Google+

- Develop new Social channels

- Developing content plans and calendar

- Produce exceptional and engaging Content for specific platforms and audiences

- Edit and manipulate images and videos for Social Media - (Photoshop, InDesign)

- Familiar with advanced techniques of customer engagement through social, increase the following and drive student recruitment

- Working with the Head of Marketing to ensure marketing plans are translated into effective integrated campaigns (Organic & Paid)

- Providing monthly analysis and KPI reports

You must have excellent knowledge and ability of communicating via Social Media. You should have the capability to create interesting and engaging content for all social media channels as well as the experience of interacting with online audiences. As a Social Media officer, in charge of online content, you will also be responsible for maintaining and updating content via the CMS system on the company websites and have experience of effective blogging.

This unique role gives you the chance to come up with your own ideas, ultimately making the role your own. Your workload would be very varied in a fast-paced environment and would suit an experienced professional with relevant experience.

To be successful in this role you will need excellent communication skills and an understanding of marketing to a variety of audiences. Experience of working on multiple projects and being able to effectively prioritise your workload.

In return you will receive a salary of up to GBP28k and excellent progression opportunities within this growing organisation.

Desirable:
