Warehouse Operative - FL Driver

The main duties for this position are:-

• Picking of product for despatch using a barcode system
• Manoeuvring of stock, goods in and goods out.
• Packing of goods and processing through the online despatch systems.
• Checking company procedures to ensure stock is packed accurately and addressed correctly.
• Other warehouse duties to include maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Assembly of components.
• Perpetual Stock Taking.

Flexibility to meet order deadlines will be expected with some early starts and later finishes in the busy periods.

Tools and Equipment Used

Fork lifts, order pickers, other lifting equipment, compressor and associated tools, PPE, racking, company van, PC, Internet, Exchequer accounts package, Excel, Word, Outlook, telephone, fax

Candidate Specification

Up to date Counter Balance/Reach & Order Picker FLT license with certificates

Time keeping & reliability is essential - inconsistent time keeping will not be tolerated

Hours:40.75 per week. Shift 6.00 - 3.30 or 8.00am - 5.30pm on a weekly rota (5pm Friday) with 1hr 15min breaks per day. Overtime paid at time and a half above contracted weekly hours.
