Production Engineer - Blackpool - GBP30-35,000 pa
Our client, a specialist manufacturing company based in Blackpool, are currently looking to recruit a Production Engineer to join and strengthen their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for introducing new processes into manufacturing, carrying out process improvements, and improving productivity and quality.
This is a highly specialist and niche manufacturing company, with over 200 staff employed at their site in Blackpool and a number of distribution sites throughout the UK. Reporting into the Group Engineering Manager, there will also be strong progression prospects for the right candidate, and it's an exciting time to join the company as they look to continue their growth.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be qualified in a relevant engineering discipline, with a strong track record of proven improvements.
With strong analytical and organisational skills, the Production Engineer should have a good understanding of Lean Manufacturing, and previous knowledge / experience of jigs and fixtures, fabrication, or assembly processes.
The Rewards
The salary on offer for this position is in the region of GBP30-35,000 pa, with 5% company pension contribution and 4x death-in-service benefit.
