Currently looking for a Kitchen Porter / Catering Assistant within East London
Monday - Friday 08.00-13.00
Overview
To provide a professional support service to the catering department for clearing and cleaning of catering areas. To support other members of the catering team in the day today running of the business. Including dealing with customers in a polite and helpful manner.
Key Duties
??To provide a cleaning service to the restaurant, servery, kitchen and shop areas
??To ensure tray trolleys are emptied on a regular basis
??To ensure pans and utensils are clean on a regular basis
??To operate dish washer and manual wash returning pots, pans and utensils are clean and ready to use
??To assist with the delivery and collection of hospitality
??To provide ad hoc and planned cleaning at the request of management.
??To provide Shop with items from storage and removed packaging into recycling bins provided
??To wash empty plates and cutlery separating waste food and other waste streams into colour coded bins
??To clean tables and chairs within restaurant seating areas
??Assist with any delivery / collections for the catering department including stock management
??To familiarise and adhere to Health and Safety practices within the FSMS
??Assist and serve customers
??Some basic food preparation
