Job Title: Pricing Analyst (energy)
Salary: GBP30K - GBP35K
Location: Leeds

As a Pricing Analyst you will be responsible for internal pricing models, monitoring margins, and delivering consistent and concise information. Job Responsibilities:
- Keeping pricing models and backing data up to date
- Develop, manage and present operational and management reports
- Audit and review internal pricing processes
- Participating in service contract negotiations
- Feeding into and progressing the strategic plan for pricing
- Gathering, analysing and reporting on key data to deliver information into the business, such as profitability reports
- Maintaining forecasts of all input costs
- Responsible for keeping internal pricing models and data up to date, monitoring margins, and delivering consistent and concise information
- Monitoring the performance of pricing decisions and to enhance how they model the many and complex variables that impact gas and electricity prices
Experience Required:
- Sound knowledge of pricing policy / methodologies and systems
- Experience of working with large datasets, databases, and using statistical analysis to interrogate data
- SQL database development/reporting experience
- Knowledge and experience of the UK energy industry
- Able to deliver high quality complex analysis in clear and concise language
- Conscientious and responsible; able to manage own workload, and take ownership of tasks
- Flexible and adaptable approach to learning and developing new systems and procedures
- Exceptional analytical and presentation skills with a keen attention to detail
- High proficiency in data analysis using Microsoft Office particularly Excel, Expert User/Access and VBA desirable
