Tenancy Management Officer
Temporary, Six Months
Colchester
Hourly rate: dependent on experience
Start date: ASAP
1. To provide a consistently high quality customer facing service for all enquiries.
2. To provide a pre-tenancy and initial tenancy administration service for customers including welfare rights advice, rent charges and arrears administration. Visit temporary accommodation ensuring occupant is residing in accommodation etc.
3. Booking clients into B&B emergency accommodation and temporary accommodation in line with policy and procedures.
4. To ensure that all void properties are managed within void timescales
5. Assist in the provision of administrative support and respond to routine correspondence as directed by the Accommodation Manager to ensure an efficient and effective service is provided to the Accommodation Team. To take responsibility for, accompanied viewings, initial tenancy advice to include welfare rights advice at sign up and referring decisions on more complex issues to the appropriate Officer.
6. To apply polices in order to prioritise customer enquiries and to take on responsibility for ensuring that customer's requests and needs are met and their expectations exceeded.
7. To select and use the appropriate technology when dealing with customer enquiries. Ensuring all data is logged and records updated.
8. Provide high quality customer service and contribute towards continuous improvement within the organisation by achieving the objectives set out in individual work plans and annual delivery plan.
9. Adhere to policies and procedures relevant to the post.
10. Maintain accurate, complete, consistent and up-to-date records which are to be available as and when required for performance, customer insight or auditing purposes.
11. Ensure that a high standard of customer care is provided at all times.
12. Provide a flexible service to incorporate cover for colleagues as required.
13. Undertake other duties appropriate to the grade of the post as directed by managers.
14. Up to date knowledge of relevant legislation in respect of role
