PRODUCTION OPERATIVE

Ibstock Brick Ltd, the UK’s leading manufacturer of clay facing bricks, is looking for a talented individual to join our modern Parkhouse production facility in Newcastle-Under-Lyme

You will be joining a group of key personnel involved in all aspects of maintaining and developing a brick production facility on a 24-hour basis.

PRODUCTION OPERATIVE

The successful applicant will be a member of a multi-functional production/TPM team aiming to achieve key targets within the departmental environment, thereby helping to deliver Cost, Quality and Efficiency benefits to the factory.

Key responsibilities will lie in the following functional areas:

• The production of high quality soft mud bricks
• Creating and maintaining the highest standards of 5S’s housekeeping and environmental management
• Operation of a range of machines and mobile plant
• Ensure areas are inspected / maintained in accordance with local H&S Safety Standards and work within Standard Safe Operating Procedures
• Deliver plant improvement initiatives and continuous improvement
• Assist in the development of SSOP’s and Risk Assessments
• Complete appropriate quality assessments

Hours of work will be based around a 4-on 4-off, 11.25 hour shift pattern, 06.30 to 18.15, but some degree of flexibility will be required.
