Job Title: Legal Secretary - Conveyancing

Contract: permanent | Fulltime 35, hours 9am-5pm Mon-Fri

Location: Sidmouth

Our client is an Independent Law Firm with offices spread across the UK. Specialising within various parts of the law, this firm looking for likeminded forward thinking people join them in their ongoing success.

You will be able to demonstrate your previous experience within a law firm and your ability to work in a fast paced but rewarding environment. You are calm under pressure and being organised is a skill that comes like second nature.

During your day you will be carrying out duties such as:

Handling inbound and outbound calls in a confident and professional manner
Preparation of contracts, transfers, Trusts and deeds, raising invoices, drawing up contracts, liaising with clients, on-line searches and completing Land registry and SDLT forms.
Cover reception when needed
Help with conveyancing transactions
Produce documents using the firm's management software
Be a competent user of Microsoft packages such as Word, Outlook and Powerpoint.

As an experienced Legal secretary you will have the following skills:

Professional telephone manner
Strong organisational skills
Good communication skills both written and verbal
Computer literate
Multi-Tasker
Good initiative
Proactive
Work well within a team
