Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location - South West
Salary - Competitive + Benefits
A multi-disciplinary construction consultancy is looking to take on a Senior Professional Quantity Surveyor to join their well-established team in the South West. Our client has over 12 years' experience in the industry in cost management and quantity surveying among many other services. They have expertise in a diverse range of sectors, and the ideal candidate will be focusing primarily on the commercial and heritage sectors in particular. The individual who will stand out most will be someone with a good professional background and several years as a Senior Quantity Surveyor.
The Role of Senior Quantity Surveyor
Main Duties include:
* Cost procurement
* Due diligence
* Analysing project costs
* Completing project valuations and arranging payments for work
* Agreement of Final Accounts
* Client facing contract administration including JCT forms
* Reporting progress to senior management
Experience Required
* MRICS/RICS Chartership ideal but not essential
* At least 3 years' experience in a Senior Quantity Surveying position
* Good communication skills, both written and oral
