Job Title: Student Lettings Negotiator

Salary: GBP16, 215 OTE GBP21,000

A well-established lettings agent in Leicester is looking for a committed, self-motivated, articulate, and driven Student Lettings Negotiator, to join their busy office.

The company aim to offer competitive & comprehensive services in lettings and require someone who is dynamic and target driven, with ambition to succeed in the lettings industry. They offer a relaxed but professional working environment, in-house training and generous remuneration with a non-capped commission structure.

Main Responsibilities include:

• Obtain new business through promotional work, mail-drops, networking etc.

• Responding to telephone & website enquiries, using our bespoke lettings software regularly updating our website with properties

• Managing applications and viewing arrangements

• Carrying out viewings with applicants

• Maintaining regular contact with all potential clients & updating records accordingly

• Negotiating between applicants and landlords & signing rental contracts

• Providing regular feedback to clients regarding our progress in securing a tenancy, agreeing any actions that may be needed in order to minimise void periods and optimise income

• Answering general enquiries from applicants, ensuring current legislation and guidelines are met at all times

• Conducting inspections, completing inventories prior to move in

• Providing excellent customer service at all times

You must have:

• Interpersonal skills and diligence

• Dynamic and target driven attitude

• Excellent communication skills

• The ability to manage their own time/diary and the ability to work with minimal supervision

Working Hours:

Monday- Friday Hours are 9am- 5pm and Saturdays 10.30am - 3.30pm.

The successful applicant, must have excellent communication skills, be a team player, be able to manage their own time/diary and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Car and driving licence preferred but not essential
