Operations Supervisor

Front of House

Contracted to 30 Hours Minimum

JOB PURPOSE

To assist in the smooth running of a high quality conference and sports facility

To play an integral role in the day to day running of the business and to ensure that quality, professionalism and customer service is maintained at all times.

Responsibilities and Duties

Operational Management

To assist in running a highly complex operational structure ensuring standards are met across the site.

To carry the role of duty supervisor in line with the weekly schedule and to ensure that the building is opened and closed in accordance with the procedures.

To be responsible for cash reconciliation on site in line with business processes.

To act as a key holder for the site.

To control and oversee functions.

Staff Management

To ensure the correct staffing levels for the day to day operation are available.

Create a safe and productive work environment for all staff.

To assist in training staff to enable them to carry out their job to the standard required.

Manage staff performance and liaise with Senior Floor Manager when there is an identified performance shortfall or conduct issue.

Health & Safety at Work

To implement all health and safety and food hygiene policies and practices.

To be aware and follow all emergency evacuation procedures.

Training in food hygiene and first aid will be available should you not currently hold them

Qualifications and Skills

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

1 year minimum in hospitality or catering in a supervisory position or similar

Have experience in a demanding and customer focused business

Be available to work week days, weekends and evening shift patterns for all types of functions

Able to work in a licensed establishment
