GLOBAL FIELD SERVICE MANAGER

GBP55,000 - GBP65,000 + Benefits

Location: Stoke-on-Trent

We are currently recruiting for a GLOBAL FIELD SERVICE MANAGER to head up the Field Engineering division for our high-tech, capital equipment OEM client. The Field Service Manager will manage and guide up to 20 direct reports to ensure that all aspects of the maintenance contracts and SLAs are achieved, and all relevant company targets are met.

Responsibilities:

* The GLOBAL FIELD SERVICE MANAGER will ensure installation and maintenance contracts are run to the Contract specification and SLAs and uptime targets achieved.

* The Field Service Manager Ensure PPM, Corrective actions and chargeable works are carried out efficiently, safely and that profitability is achieved.

* Develop high-level stakeholder relationships with the client and conduct monthly SLA performance review, failures and improvement plans.

* The Field Service Manager will accurately identify the resources required to resolve all works within the Field Service Engineering department.

* Preparation and review of all programs, technical schedules and method statements in assigned projects.

* Define clear, measurable indicators reflecting output, quality and customer service and ensuring staff achieve them.

* Undertake long term analysis of the performance indicators and identify solutions to improve customer satisfaction and resource utilisation.

* Undertake performance evaluation of staff on a regular basis to ensure customer requirements and performance standards are being met.

* To continually develop systems and processes that improve the reliability and maintainability of assets.

* Ensure standards of quality as defined by the customer are achieved or exceeded.

* Company quality standards are maintained or exceeded and comply with ISO 9001.

* Comply with all statutory, Customer and Company Health and Safety Systems / Acts

* Experience of managing continuous improvement processes

* Working with and to budgets

Qualifications

* Degree or Diploma in Engineering

* Extensive International Field Support Management Experience.

* A progressive career gained as a field-based engineer within a high technology capital equipment OEM

* Service Delivery Management experience delivering to tight SLA's

* Experience of working to ISO 9001 or equivalent quality standard.

* Intermediate/ advanced Microsoft Excel skills and well developed analytical skills

Location: Stoke-on-Trent

Salary: GBP55,000 - GBP65,000 + benefits.
