A fantastic opportunity has arisen for the position of a Technical Assistant within B-hive Innovations, an Agri-Tech company established to deliver innovative solutions for the fresh produce industry.
This exciting new role will provide an opportunity for someone with a keen interest in innovation to join the growing B-Hive team based at the Science & Innovation Park in Lincoln. You may be just leaving school or college and looking for your first role. Or you might have some relevant experience that makes you stand out.
Due to our growth, we're looking for someone to join the team who will provide technical support to our talented team of developers, engineers and scientists. You'll be involved in a wide range of activities
What you'll do:
* Assist project teams with the building and assembly of prototype and final products
* Liaise with our customers (internal & external)
* Source and procure components and consumables
* Assist in system testing, including data collection and reporting
* Assist in installation of items/products
* Provide first line support for products
* Other project related duties as required by the project team
Skills you'll need:
* A level qualifications in technical or engineering relates study
* GCSE Maths & English
* General technical/engineering knowledge and aptitude
* Ability to work to deadlines with minimal supervision
* Microsoft Office skills
Full UK driving license is essential
