Job Profile for Manual Grinder - Universal / Cylindrical - AM134017
CNC Cylindrical Grinder Machinist / Manual Machinist required for a well-established manufacturer of components covering a wide range of sectors. It is envisaged that the successful CNC Cylindrical Grinder Machinist / Manual Machinist will have experience in a Cylindrical Grinder / Manual Machinist role and have experience with CNC machinery.
Manual Grinder - Universal / Cylindrical Position Overview
* Planning grinding by studying drawings issued/ route card planning
* Checking/maintaining route card/ tooling / grinding
* Setting up Cylindrical Grinder
* Loading feed mechanism
* Maintaining specifications of machinery
Manual Grinder - Universal / Cylindrical Position Requirements
* Experience in Cylindrical Grinding
* Experience with CNC machinery
* Knowledge of 5S desirable
* Route card experience desirable
* Based in a commutable distance of Sundbury-upon-thames
* Tooling/instrumentation experience desirable
* Full UK driving licence
Manual Grinder - Universal / Cylindrical Position Remuneration
* Pay- GBP13-GBP15 per hour depending on experience.
* Overtime available (time and a half)
* 28 days' holiday including bank holidays
* Pension
