An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Apprenticeship Recruitment Coordinator to join The Aspire Training Team, part of Hadland Care Group. This is an exciting opportunity to continue your career with an expanding employer.

Established over 20 years ago, Hadland Care Group comprises of two companies, including Tops Day Nurseries and the Aspire Training Team, operating throughout the South West of the UK, incorporating Dorset, Hampshire, Wilshire , Somerset and Devon.

The Apprenticeship Recruitment Coordinator will be responsible for the recruitment of Childcare, Business Administration and Customer Service apprentices across the group as a whole; recruiting for all of our Tops Day Nurseries, and our Head Office in Bournemouth.

In addition to internal apprentice recruitment, you will work closely with the Aspire Sales Team to recruit apprentices for a portfolio of external employers across the South West, consisting of (but not limited to) privately run nurseries, child-minders and corporate businesses looking to appoint Business Administration apprentices.

This role will have the potential to grow and develop for the right person, and as such we are looking for someone that is really keen to develop a career within Internal Recruitment and/or Human Resources.

About You

The ideal candidate will be someone who cannot only work well individually but also is a strong team-player; it is imperative you have strong written and oral communication skills and are able to prioritise your workload effectively, using initiative where necessary.

You will have strong administration and customer service experience and it would be advantageous to have recruitment/resourcing experience also (either in-house or agency).

Essential skills & experience:

Experience working in an office environment
Excellent communication and organisation skills
Strong Customer Service and/or Sales experience
Ability to prioritise and manage own workload
Good knowledge of Microsoft packages

Desirable skills & experience:

Recruitment experience
Experience working within a similar environment e.g. Education and/or Training Provider

Your Responsibilities and Duties will involve:

Creating & posting job adverts for internal and external vacancies on to relevant job boards
Recording vacancies and applications through our internal tracking system
Reviewing all applications, pre-screening applicants via the phone and in-person to assess suitability for vacancies
Sending applications across to both hiring managers and external clients in a timely manner
Arranging interviews for apprentices, both internally and externally
Sending out confirmation emails and other correspondence to applicants where necessary
Working closely with the Aspire Sales team to communicate recruitment needs for Aspire customers
Contacting managers & clients for feedback following interviews in a timely manner, managing clients expectations where necessary
Arranging & attending Career Events
