Job Description
Overview of Role:
The Operations Supervisor role is at the heart of ensuring our customers receive world-class installations and servicing. The role will support the scheduling of installation engineers across the UK; handle inbound customer queries; contact and schedule customer planned maintenance; perform general administration and office duties as required. Engineering experience desirable.

Role Description:
- To perform operations using scheduling software and future CRM systems for installations, call outs and planned maintenance scheduling.
- Schedule & support engineers across the UK ensuring this is carried out in the most effective and efficient way.
- Manage operational resources including engineers, vehicles & stock.
- Accurate input of data required.
- Work closely with the Operations Manager and the Sales team to schedule work and give accurate time estimates to customers.
- Ensure that all operational areas of the software system are set up correctly and maintained to the highest level.
- Ability to triage call-outs & provide technical advice to customers.
- Review completed engineer jobs.
- Provide technical advice where necessary.
- Ensure that we give excess time for jobs which require extensive work, preventing revisits.
- Be mindful of costs and any expenditure and to follow the procurement process set by the financial controller.
- Ensure the stocking van is routed efficiently and maintained.
- Escalate product related concerns appropriately.
- Provide excellent customer service and to handle customer enquiries with speed and efficiency.

Key Skills & Experience:
- Effective communicator both verbal and written, across all levels of the organisation.

- Computer literate and numerate with an understanding of Microsoft Office or similar.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure, prioritise and ensure project and task completion.
- Experience in dealing with customers and queries.
- Self-confident, with a polite, can-do attitude with a customer-friendly approach and manner.
