Formed in January 2006 and based in Horsforth, Leeds, West Yorkshire. Compass Resourcing is Yorkshire Based Agency recruiting in Construction, Industrial, Engineering and Manufacturing. We are looking for an Accounts / Admin assistant due to expansion.
Annual salary is negotiable, depending on experience. CIRCA GBP18,000
Hours are 8:30am - 5.30pm, Monday to Friday
Full training will be given on any aspect of the role that is needed. We will also pay for the succesfull applicant to go though their AAT qualifications.
Duties:
Duties will include but not be limited to the following:
Purchase Ledger
•Processing purchase invoices
•Resolving queries
•Verifying CIS subcontractors
•Weekly BACS run
Sales Ledger
•Raise Sales invoices / credit notes
•Create new client accounts
•Credit checks
Credit Control
•Chase payment via telephone and letter
•Send statements
•Resolve queries
Payroll - Weekly
•Collating paperwork for new starters
•Inputting timesheets onto our database
•Pension admin
General Admin Duties
•Answering telephone
•Photocopying / scanning / filling
Skills:
•Computer literate with knowledge of excel
•Have worked in an accounts department before
•High attention to detail
•Polite profession telephone manner
•Ability to work as part of a team
•Time keeping and organisational skills
•The ability to manage a busy workload
•Knowledge of CIS would be advantageous
