School Nurse (Job Share) , The Schools at Somerhill

The Role

The Schools at Somerhill is a thriving independent school for boys and girls age 3 to 13. This is a great opportunity for a Registered Nurse with at least four years post registration professional experience, to work as part of  a job share to provide medical support to the The Schools at Somerhill.

Person Specification

The School Nurse must be an excellent communicator and able to easily form good and healthy relationships with children, teachers and parents in a variety of different, sometimes sensitive circumstances. The School Nurse must also be able to work in a pressurised environment and be able to prioritise tasks. They must remain calm under pressure and, most importantly, retain a sense of humour.

Interviews:  Early March, 2019

Start Date: 23^rd April, 2019 or earlier if possible

Salary:  Negotiable based on experience

Hours of work: 2 ½ days per week 8.30am – 4.30pm and 8.30am – 1.00pm; days to be agreed Term Time Only
