Due to the high volume of Primary work we currently have available, we have recently split our Sheffield office into two branches. We are looking for final years students and Graduates to join our flexible workforce. The South Sheffield branch work exclusively with a number of Mutli-Academy Trusts and schools across Sheffield, Rotherham and Chesterfield including the Birley Federation, Hallam Primary School and Abbey Lane Primary School (who hold an 'Outstanding' status).

We are looking for a Graduate with experience supporting in Primary settings, who can positively contribute to raising achievement in various Key Stages, working either 1:1 or with small groups. You will support the class teacher and deliver structured activities to support English, Phonics and Maths. You may work with children who have been identified as having Special Educational Needs, so experience in this area would be desired. You will need to challenge and motivate children in your care, to reinforce self-esteem and encourage them to take part in whole class activities in a positive manner. If you are looking to undertake your PGCE, we can offer experience covering whole classes to support you with your application for the course.

Our Ideal Graduate will have:

  • Completed a Degree linked to education or be looking to undertake a PGCE
  • Experience working with children in a classroom or nursery setting
  • Be able to motivate and inspire children
  • Be keen to develop own skills - willing to undergo additional training
  • Have good diary availability
