Project Compliance Administrator
Grimsby
£22,000
Fixed term contract – 3 years, 37 hour week
We have a newly created vacancy for an experienced Compliance Administrator to work within a small friendly team of a successful, well known and well established, social enterprise organisation. Your main role as the Compliance Administrator is to provide administrative and logistical support to a team comprising of Business Manager, Performance Manager as well as Business Advisors and Business Partners. It is imperative that you are experienced with compliance, and audit process systems, a knowledge of fund working would be advantageous. To fulfil the specification within this role you may come from the public sector or perhaps a legal background, or similar, where you are used to working to set procedures. If you are a Compliance Administrator, used to working with SME’s you will find this a most rewarding role. The post offers 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays. It would be desirable if you are a car driver with access to a vehicle with suitable business insurance.
Key responsibilities – Compliance Administrator:
- To maintain comprehensive and accurate records of SME activity, registration and monitoring information
- To check Business Compliance before Assistance is provided
- To co-ordinate records of all documentation and communication with SME clients involved in the project, maintaining full records of this communication
- To assist in the promotion of project events/workshops/open days targeting SME recruitment onto the project; co-ordinating SME responses to the promotional activity and passing leads on accordingly to the Project Manager. To ensure the completion and collation of appropriate paperwork for such events.
- To assist with the preparation of project documents and financial reports
- To maintain records of project activities and liaise with project team members.
- To take minutes of project meetings
- To carry out any other duties appropriate to the post as determined by the Performance Manager
Personal specification – Compliance Administrator:
- Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with audit against project requirements
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Interest and knowledge of SME business support
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
- An effective team player with the ability to work independently
