Overview of Inside Sales/Telesales Role
Part office based, part field based you will be accountable for both prospecting new customers and servicing existing customers across the local area.
Via telesales, the role demands a high level of pro-active customer contact, order capture and the planning and organisation of deliveries within set parameters.
With your extensive knowledge of the product range, you will develop and improve your relationship with your customers, enabling you to meet and exceed your sales targets as outlined by the business
Main Responsibilities of the Inside Sales/Telesales Rep.
1. Create and regularly update a customer database to track progress, identify new prospects and lapsed customers requiring a renewed focus.
2. Pro-actively contact customer base to prompt order capture, discuss needs and agree on a delivery schedule
3. Weekly planning of delivery routes to efficiently service orders captured
4. The collection of stock from the warehouse as per delivery schedule, stock checks, stock rotation and stock maintenance as required
5. Achieve sales and margin targets within independent retailers as outlined by the business and review progress periodically with HoS
6. Create loyalty and enthusiasm for the brands by developing strong customer relationships and providing promo and marketing materials as req'd
7. Handling and banking cash and reconciling to stock sold
8. Providing excellent customer service
9. Undertaking vehicle checks in accordance with health and safety policy
10. Feedback customer enquiries/suggestions to ensure that the business remains relevant within the market
11. Perform other delivery duties as and when required by the business
