Role: Chemical Process Operator
Salary: GBP10 - GBP11.30 per hour
Location: Hackney
Our client, a manufacturer in Hackney, is looking for a efficient Chemical Process Operator to join their busy team based in Hackney. The Chemical Process Operator will be responsible for carrying out the processing and mixing of Chemicals. This is a temporary role with the potential to become permanent.
Main Responsibilities of the Chemical Process Operator:
* Processing and mixing of Chemicals
* Recording results - temperature, pH levels
* Premixing
* Package and label chemicals safely
* Preparing materials
* Stock check and SAP update
* Cleaning and maintain work area
* Evaluate product quality
* Prepare waste collection
Successful Candidate for the Chemical Process Operator:
* Able to work safely and efficiently
* Able to lift and carry heavy materials
* Good numeracy skills
* Strong communication skills
* Experience in manufacturing
* Experience in a chemical processing environment
* Basic IT skills.
* Must have GCSE or A Level qualifications
* Team player.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes and SAP.
