We are seeking a candidate with knowledge of information governance requirements, to provide a high quality service to organisations enquiring and commissioning invited reviews.
About us:
The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists is a professional membership association dedicated to improving women's health care across the world. We do this by setting standards for clinical practice, providing doctors with training and lifelong learning, and working with partners to advocate for women's health and health care across their life course. We are a global leader in this specialist area and are approaching our 90th year, supporting 16,000 members in the UK and internationally.
We are a values led organisation placing high standards, innovation, openness, inclusiveness and trust at the centre of all we do.
About the role:
Reporting to the Invited Reviews Manager, you will support the day-to-day coordination of the Invited Review Service, as well as specific tasks related to improving and developing the service.
One of the key objectives of the RCOG is to set standards to improve women's health. One way to achieve this is through the promotion of the highest standards of care for women accessing both obstetrics and gynaecology services.
Invited reviews provide an independent perspective where concerns are raised with regard to the standards of care being provided or where validation and advice on configuration of women's services is required.
Requirements:
As the ideal candidate you will have:
Experience of working with senior health care professionals in a variety of settings
Experience in working with confidential/sensitive information
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt personal style to different audiences
Excellent organisational and coordination skills to support the RCOG assessors during reviews.
Benefits:
As an important member of our team you will be located in our well-resourced offices overlooking Regent's Park, with a move to London Bridge planned for November 2019 to new bespoke offices, where we offer a friendly working environment with an excellent benefits package that includes:
Generous holiday entitlement
Flexible working hours
First class pension scheme
Season ticket loan
Subsidised gym membership
How to apply:
To apply, please visit our website via the apply button, to download the full Job Description and Person Specification, along with the application form.
Closing date for applications: 10.00am on Friday 22 February 2019
