We’re introducing a new role of Compliance Manager within Property Services and are seeking to appoint the successful candidate initially on a 6 month fixed term contract basis which may become permanent.

You will work closely with internal colleagues and external partners to ensure our statutory obligations are achieved for service, repair and improvement work in to our customer’s homes. You will act as the main contact for and coordination of all asset related compliance within property services.

Proactive in your approach you will ensure that robust policies and procedures are in place for the management of health and safety risks arising from our assets, in order to provide necessary assurance to the Board and via audits. Further to this you will also be accountable for embedding a culture of compliance,  high achievement and continuous improvement. 

We are looking for someone with confidence, a can do attitude, flexibility and who thinks innovatively.  You will have extensive experience of managing effective servicing and maintenance contracts to ensure quality and compliance, along with a proven track record of managing supplier contracts, ideally gained within the housing sector whilst optimising technology to drive value.  

You will be able to make operational decisions based on knowledge and evidence without extensive referral to senior colleagues and have extensive knowledge of housing and building regulations/law. 

Excellent communication skills will be needed with the ability to make sound decisions.  

You will also need to embrace a culture of continuous improvement, to support value for money throughout the group and have a passion for getting things right, first time.
