Do you have experience supporting vulnerable adults? Interested in being part of the wider modern slavery conversation?

Our client is the largest provider of accommodation and outreach support to those who experienced Modern Slavery in London, supporting people across all London Boroughs. Due to the Underground Lives report presented in the commons and wider media coverage and awareness, the need for their service has grown massively in the last 2 years. Because of this their team is growing too.

This is an amazing opportunity to be part of the ever-growing modern slavery conversation. You don’t need experience within modern slavery. They just want people who are passionate about supporting vulnerable adults, someone who can relate to the complexity of the situation of people in crisis and who is happy to travel across London.

If you have experience supporting people who are/have experienced mental health, homelessness, substance misuse or similar and want to be part of a service which continuously develops new and innovative projects and services, they want to hear from you! As one of theur Outreach Advocates (Support Worker), you will genuinely help change people’s lives across London. This is a very autonomous role where you have the option to arrange your own day but with the knowledge you have a whole team to support you at any point. Our client offers a culture of learning and development, with access to an extensive range of learning and development opportunities as well as genuine career progression.

In everything they do, they seek to be: respectful, genuine, dedicated, collaborative and courageous and if these values resonate with you, please apply.

They welcome applications from candidates with lived experience and are proud to be a Disability Confident employer.

In return they offer a competitive salary, a supportive working environment and a host of benefits including pension, employee discounts, 25 days holiday per annum (for full-time positions) plus the option to buy an additional 3 weeks, cycle to work scheme and season ticket loan.

Hours: 39 hours per week. Unfortunately, due to increasing workload they are unable to consider request for part-time or job share positions - Monday to Friday, on call for 1 week approximately every 4 months
