Sales Business Development Manager.

We are looking for someone with success in a new business or hunter environment to join our growing team as a Business Development Manager. This is the perfect opportunity for a talented individual to join one of the UK's fastest growing MSPs, working on the latest, cutting-edge technologies.

Role summary:

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for closing new business and driving New Logo sales. To be successful in this role you will need extensive and demonstrable experience in winning New Logo clients to be able to hit monthly, quarterly and annual one-off, recurring and margin based financial targets.

You will be expected to ensure that incremental pipeline revenue coverage is at a ratio of 3:1 against targets, use social media campaigns to increase market awareness and establish strategic referral networks suitable for target accounts.

Key responsibilities:

  • Compile a Sales Execution Plan for the successful delivery of Sales' GP target
  • Lead and manage internal stakeholders to support sales engagements
  • Lead and drive strategic GCI products and technology into targeted accounts with regular technology workshops focused around Unified Comms, Cloud Hosting, multi-site data networks and IT Managed Services
  • Attend regular 1:1 sessions to analyse and develop the pipeline, set strategies for accounts and issue resolutions
  • Support the team where required at client meetings and customer workshops
  • Engage and liaise with the wider business to help form virtual teams, win opportunities and resolve client issues
  • Ensure the pipeline or CRM system is updated daily
  • Work alongside and feed into Product and Marketing campaigns

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a minimum of 5 years' experience of selling within the ICT sector
  • Has a proven track record of closing multi-discipline contracts to enterprise companies
  • Is experienced in winning New Logo clients
  • Can develop strong relationships at all levels within corporate accounts and demonstrate well-developed client management and presentation skills
  • Has developed, led and closed high value sales opportunities at a value of GBP1m+ per annum
  • Is skilled in sales strategy, qualification techniques and business case development
  • Can negotiate skilfully in tough situations with both internal and external groups
