Financial Inclusion Caseworker – Building Better Opportunities funding - Exploring Opportunities Ref: 2019/01/FIC

This is a Fixed Term Contract to cover maternity leave until August 2019.

Part time – 24.5 hours per week - based in Hull.

Salary:  £24,057

Actual: £15,929.64

The post holder will provide advice to clients who are experiencing financial exclusion to help them move out of that situation and into a stable position, with the long term view of getting into employment.

You will work with a wide range of partners in the Exploring Opportunities Programme across Hull and East Riding. You will provide generalist advice and casework services, such as debt and benefits to AQS standards, enabling clients to maximise their income.

Liaising closely with clients and their key workers, you will also deliver a variety of client focused activities to address the root causes of poverty. You will equip clients with the skills and confidence necessary to maintain a stable position and improve both their financial and digital skills and confidence.

You will also provide support to partner organisations around the issues of financial inclusion by delivering training and providing telephone consultancy.
