As an HR Consultant you will build and manage relationships with a range of business leaders. It is a progressive business with a great reputation for the quality of delivery, the professionals that work within the business, the collateral that supports their offering and the professional yet convivial relations they build with their broad range of clients.

As a key member of a great team of experienced HR professionals your activities can cover the entire HR spectrum with a core around complex employee relations, supporting and advising clients through change. It can also encompass learning and organisation development, reward, recruitment and selection, policy and process development etc. You will work closely with clients and your wider team to both scope and deliver projects and services, whilst there is also potential to build skills around developing tenders and proposals for work.

What is critical in HR Consulting is an ability to build relationships quickly and gain credibility by being able to engage clients with your warmth of character whilst possessing the robustness to hold your ground and provide clear and coherent advice. Beyond that you'll need to be a CIPD qualified HR generalist with a strength and interest in employment law and practical experience of handling complex, sensitive, senior level cases. You'll need to be able to balance the demands of operating in a fast business environment whilst delivering quality outcomes. The business has a close knit and supportive team environment. Consultants gain a real variety in their work and the type of clients they deal with. You will split your time between the office and out at clients, which are principally in London and the South East, hence you must be willing travel within the role.
